The parking was fairly convenient.

The room did not impress. It looked tired. The wallpaper had come away from the walls because of damp. there were water stains on the ceiling. The room temperature was quite cold, and the radiator did not function, the dust layers were a nuisance.

The breakfast was great. I found a good choice of items. The staff was friendly and competent. Check-in was quick (always a plus!).

The parking cost extra. I paid £10 per night (I didn't expect that). The room's wallpaper near the window was coming off. This was in room 110.

i received a free upgrade to a double sea view room. the staff were very helpful . the room was very clean upon arrival, which i really appreciated.

the concert room was directly below my room and the noise was excessive when the cabaret started. the music and compere continued until 1:30 am. this made sleeping difficult.

I found a good choice of food on the menu. Each dish was cooked well. portion sizes were decent, and breakfast and dinner were consistently good. the staff in the breakfast room were very helpful and friendly.

The downstairs bar and lobby were decorated beautifully. the hotel offers entertainment, though it stopped quite late. the tram stops right in front of the building. This makes getting around very easy. the hotel is all flat.

i found the staff amazing! they even helped me get my phone back after i lost it in a taxi. the room was super clean and comfy, a PERFECT place to sleep. i'm definitely coming back, especially since it's so great for couples.

the corridors between rooms were difficult to navigate. there were also quite a few insects around, which bothered me the most. it was an issue throughout the area.

the hotel is close to major attractions and tram stops are almost right outside, very convenient. it's also within walking distance to the north area of the city. parking is available for a fee of £10 a night.

there are two bars on site, with drinks. a snooker room is available for free use. guests also have free access to the doric facilities up the road, including a swimming pool and spa.
