the location WAS acceptable, really close to wynyard station.
The lack of service really hurt this stay. i couldn't even get ice. The phone rang for ages and the online room service page gave a 404 error. the bathroom sink was also majorly clogged, and i couldn't report it because no one answered the phone OR was at reception.

Decent Location, Some Issues

slow check-insystem error
The check-in process was slow. Staff seemed overwhelmed. A staff member entered my room late at night without warning and gave no real explanation. I found this unacceptable and unsettling. There was an error in their system, and he wanted to take the hairdryer.

The room included plates and cutlery, so I could enjoy meals. The bar fridge had a great selection of beverages. There was ample hanging space for all my clothes.
The civil works next door were unexpected and caused some noise during the day.
