shower controls cold water

i found the location quite convenient, near the tower and public transport. i must say, the breakfast buffet had quite a good selection.

The shower controls were not labelled correctly. I ended up with a face full of cold water. also, housekeeping did not visit my room on one of the days, a minor inconvenience.

uncomfortable hot air conditioning

the breakfast buffet offered a good variety of choices.

the air conditioning in my room was not working , and the room became uncomfortably hot overnight. it made for a very restless night and i was disappointed that this issue was not resolved promptly. i expected better from a hotel of this caliber.

lovely decor train station comfy bed

The decor in the rooms was very lovely and the staff were friendly. I felt very welcomed. the location offers easy access to tube stations and liverpool street train station, which helped a lot. the bed was so comfy. I slept very well each night. breakfast was great. I always found something delicious.

I did find that there was no minibar in the room. I did miss this convenience.

The hotel's location is excellent near the tower and the city. several tube stations are located nearby. I found it quite convenient to explore the whole city. it was easy to get around! though the parking was expensive.

The staff was friendly from check-in to departure. My partner received a lovely birthday wish in our room upon arrival. The hotel offered us facilities to shower at 6 p.m. after we checked out at 11 a.m. (before heading to the airport). This was a fantastic touch.

Mixed Experience at City Hotel

The HVAC system seemed TO malfunction consistently. The room became uncomfortably hot during the night. I HAD to wake up and manually reset it multiple times. This significantly affected my sleep quality. the hallway's lacked air conditioning, which raised concerns about the working conditions for the cleaning staff. The absence of bottled water in the room and the fixed windows added to my Disappointment.

the room was very clean. The bed was comfy. Bathroom products and towels were available. I received coffee and tea for the morning. I appreciated the hotel's great location for a weekend trip.

there was a slight delay at check-in. i received free drink vouchers while i waited. This compensated well for the delay.

modern room friendly staff convenient location bathroom door sink drainage television connectivity

The room was modern and clean I had a king room. Staff members were friendly and helpful . The hotel is close to the aldgate underground stop.

The bathroom door was a barn-style sliding door it offered no real privacy. The sink did not drain well. There were some issues with the television connectivity.
