The breakfast buffet was amazing, with so many delicious options (I especially enjoyed the fresh fruit). The pool and spa were also a great addition. I really liked that the location was very close to Tower Hill underground station. It made it easy to get around the city!
The room was quite basic. It only had a double bed and one desk with one chair. There was also no air conditioning or heating available in the room (so it was difficult to get the room temperature just right).

the bed was very comfy and i had peaceful nights.
I found dirty cups in my room and the bedding was also not clean (that was quite unhygienic). the air-conditioning made scary sounds, so i turned it off at night. the staff was rude. I rang from my friend's room for slippers and they just hung up on me.

the location was good. the breakfast was delicious and had many options for hot food. the pool was very nice. it was next to the tower hill tube.
the bathroom was okay but you could tell it's outdated especially with the shower curtains. i didn't like early check in, i was told i pay extra. this was offputting as i hadn't seen it in other hotel stays before.

really good stay near historic landmarks

i appreciated the proximity to the tower hill tube stop. the family room featured two comfortable queen size beds. the pool and spa area was a welcome addition and we used it before our room was available upon arrival. fruit and shortbread biscuits, accompanied by flavored water, were a nice touch in the lobby.
during my stay, i noticed that the air conditioning in the family room was not fully functional. a large air conditioning unit with a pipe extending out of an open window was installed, but it was noisy. this arrangement also meant the window needed to remain open overnight, limiting the ability to close the curtains.

the shower situation was a bit of a laugh the water pressure was practically nonexistent and getting the temperature right was like trying to solve a rubik's cube. breakfast proved to be another source of amusement a 20-minute wait for a table is only funny the first time especially when you see half the tables sitting empty. it was like a comedy of errors one i wasn't entirely in on.

The breakfast buffet offered various delicious options. I particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit and pastries. the hotel's location was also quite convenient as it was close to the tube and within walking distance of tower bridge. ashraf, who was picking up plates, provided fast and polite service.
i noticed some old features in the room, giving it a slightly worn feel. there was an issue with dried blood on the bathroom wall and some debris stuck to the tiles near the toilet. it was rather disappointing to find these details.
